The EC/SE utilizes 6SJ7 and 6F6 Metal Pentode Tubes, Classic style Input and Output Transformers, a whopping 75dB of gain, a DI input, a proper DC/Transformer coupled Single Ended Output Stage, the absolute finest Mil-Spec Resistors and Boutique/NOS Capacitors, and a full complement of Input and Output Attenuation. The EC/SE has a fast and responsive feel, a highly unique color and tone. The 75dB of gain allows the EC/SE to really bring some new vibe to lower gain ribbon and dynamic microphones.
